050(A) (Exterior light and glare) sets the City's baseline shielding standard for every outdoor fixture. Exterior lighting must be architecturally integrated with the character of the on-site and adjacent structures, directed downward and shielded so all direct light and glare stays within the subject parcel's boundaries, and appropriate in height, intensity, and scale to the use it serves. 060(P), but even those cannot exceed the unusually-high-intensity threshold.
