Vehicles on public right-of-way limited to 24-hour storage. All vehicles on private property must be in moveable condition with current registration and inflated tires. Inoperable vehicles not meeting these standards are code violations.
Under Chapter 72 of the Hollywood Code of Ordinances, all vehicles must display a valid license tag and be in moveable condition with all tires inflated. Vehicles may be parked on the city right-of-way for a temporary period not to exceed 24 hours. Section 72.009 prohibits parking for certain purposes and authorizes towing of any vehicle ticketed that is not removed within 24 hours of issuance. Parking in all public spaces is limited to 24 hours. Vehicles that appear abandoned (no registration, flat tires, inoperable) may be reported to the Office of Parking at 954-921-3535 or non-emergency police at 954-967-4636. Provide information on why the vehicle is considered illegally parked.
Ticketed vehicles towed after 24 hours at owner's expense. Contact Hollywood Police Department at 954-764-4357 for towed vehicle information. Citations may be appealed within 10 business days.
