Nampa, ID Parking Rules: Abandoned Vehicles (2026)

Under Nampa City Code Chapter 6-8, it's unlawful to park any inoperative, unauthorized, wrecked, dismantled, abandoned, or unregistered vehicle on a public right-of-way for any length of time; a vehicle disabled while being driven may sit curbside up to 45 hours for repair or removal arrangements. On private property, no one in control of the property may let a partially dismantled, inoperative, wrecked, junked, or discarded vehicle sit longer than 48 hours, unless it's fully enclosed, tied to a lawful business, or covered by a $7.00 salvage permit allowing up to two vehicles for parts/repair.
