Nampa, ID Parking Rules: Overnight Parking (2026)

Nampa City Code § 7-2-17.A.3.a prohibits parking overnight on city property, including on-street spaces, without prior permission from the code enforcement parking services office. The prohibition sits alongside separate rules in the same section: a 72-hour cap on motor homes, campers, RVs and attached trailers, a 48-hour cap on unattached trailers, and a two-hour cap on overtime parking under section 7-2-13. Vehicles actively loading or unloading, working an ongoing construction project under a valid city permit, or servicing a public utility within 100 feet of the job site are exempt from the time limits. Anyone parked overnight without the required permission is subject to a parking ticket under section 7-2-19.
