Section 24-310(n) draws a line between residential rural land and the county's business and industrial districts when it comes to commercial equipment. In the RR and RT districts, no commercial vehicles, trailers or equipment shall be parked, stored or otherwise contained outdoors, full stop, unless one of two conditions is met: the vehicle is kept inside a completely enclosed structure, such as a garage or pole barn, or it is present only because it's being used in conjunction with a legitimate service being rendered for the benefit of the residential premises, meaning a delivery truck, moving van or contractor's rig can be on-site temporarily while it does work for that address.

What the section doesn't allow is long-term outdoor storage or parking of a commercial rig as a matter of convenience, such as an owner-operator parking a semi-tractor in a rural residential yard between hauls. The same subsection sits within the broader parking and loading article, section 24-310, which also sets the county's minimum parking space dimensions (300 square feet, nine feet wide by 19 feet deep) and requires dust-free, all-weather surfacing for parking areas in the GB, HB, LI and HI districts under subsection (j), showing the ordinance treats commercial vehicle storage as a use-intensity issue tied to the district, not just a nuisance complaint.
