Section 1806.14 defines a commercial motor vehicle as one with a gross vehicle weight rating over 10,000 pounds (excluding recreational vehicles) and limits where such vehicles may be stored on residential premises. Non-rear-yard commercial-vehicle parking must be on a City Engineer-approved hard surface up to 400 square feet, and at most one commercial motor vehicle may be kept in the rear yard when driveway space is insufficient. Chapter 440 (Commercial and Heavy Vehicles) governs commercial and heavy-vehicle operation on Lima streets. Front-lawn and treelawn parking of commercial vehicles is prohibited.
