Pageland, SC Parking Rules: Commercial & Oversized Vehicles (2026)

Sec. 7-5(A) of the Town of Pageland Zoning Ordinance prohibits parking or storing a commercial vehicle on any street, road, right-of-way, or alley in a residential district, or on any residential lot, at any time. 5 tons used for commercial, industrial, or construction purposes; any tractor trailer, whether the tractor or trailer alone; vehicles built to carry 16 or more passengers; vehicles used to transport hazardous waste materials; and vehicles with more than six tires that carry signage or markings advertising a business or commercial interest.

Churches and public or private schools are exempt from this residential-zone ban. Sec. 5 tons on any street or alley in Pageland, in any zoning district, not just residential ones. The only carve-out from that broader street ban is for moving or delivery vans actively being loaded or unloaded, which are exempt for up to 15 days. Together the two subsections mean a heavy commercial vehicle has essentially no lawful place to sit on a Pageland street overnight, whether the neighborhood is residential or not, unless it is actively working a load.
