Under home occupation rules (SDMC 141.0308), business-related vehicles may not exceed a one-ton carrying capacity, and tow trucks are not permitted as home occupation vehicles. Commercial vehicles displaying advertising signage must comply with sign regulations. No commercial vehicle may be parked in a manner that obstructs sight lines at intersections. The 72-hour continuous parking limit applies to all vehicles, including commercial ones. Oversized commercial vehicles are subject to the same 2 AM-6 AM prohibition as other large vehicles under SDMC 86.0139.
