San Marcos Municipal Code restricts commercial vehicle parking in residential zones. Commercial vehicles exceeding weight or size limits for residential zones must be parked at the business location or a commercial yard. Overnight storage of commercial vehicles on residential streets is prohibited. On private residential property, commercial vehicle storage may be subject to zoning restrictions under Title 20. Vehicles must not obstruct sidewalks, driveways, or sight lines at intersections.
