24 of the City Code, set the marking standard for parking prohibitions inside the market district bounded by Center Street, High Street, Second Avenue and South Street. A requires that at all intersections of those streets, every parking prohibition be marked off in conformance with Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey, with the prohibition indicated by curb painting. C goes further for prohibitions that apply at all times: those must be indicated by yellow paint applied to the surface of the street in a diagonal pattern, in addition to signs and curb painting, so a driver sees both a painted curb and a diagonal street marking.

B adds a site-specific no-parking zone behind the former Utility Distributors building on the north side of High Street: signs must be posted for five feet on each side of a ten-foot driveway located about 230 feet west of First Avenue. 070, which bans parking at all times on the west side of Second Avenue between South and High Streets, the south side of High Street between Second and First Avenues, and the south side of Center Street between Elizabeth Avenue and Second Avenue. 060 also relies on painted lines: angle-parking market stalls are outlined in white paint on the curbing, and the required twelve-foot traffic lane is marked by a six-inch white line on the street surface.
