Lee County has no blanket overnight street-parking ban, but you may not park any vehicle for more than 24 continuous hours on a public street, lot, or public-access property to display it for sale, hire, or rent. After written notice, the vehicle may be towed at the owner's expense.
Code of Ordinances Sec. 28-106 makes it unlawful to park a motor vehicle for a continuous period exceeding 24 hours, after written notice, on a public street, highway, parking lot, or other public property (or private property the public may travel) for the principal purpose of displaying it for sale, hire, or rental unless the person is a licensed dealer. This does not prohibit parking your own vehicle on property you own or lease. There is no general county curfew on overnight residential street parking, but signed 'No Parking' zones (Sec. 28-104/28-108) and the commercial-truck bans (Sec. 28-188/28-189) still apply overnight.
A law enforcement officer may affix a written notice, then have the vehicle removed at the owner's expense; the owner owes reasonable towing and storage fees.
