You cannot park tractor-trailers, semi-trucks, two-or-more-rear-axle trucks, or any truck over 15,000-lb GVWR on residentially or agriculturally zoned Lee County property. Limited exceptions cover daytime deliveries, an enclosed home-occupation building, working AG residents, and emergency utility on-call trucks.
LDC Sec. 34-1181 prohibits parking or storing tractor-trailers, semi-trailer trucks, trucks with two or more rear axles, and trucks (or truck-trailer combos) with a manufacturer GVWR over 15,000 pounds on land zoned AG, RS, RSA, RSC, TFC, TF, RM, MH, RV, PUD, RPD, RVPD, MHPD, or the residential portion of an MPD. Exceptions include daytime deliveries/service calls, trucks in a fully enclosed building for an approved home occupation, one truck driven home by an AG resident, and one emergency-service utility truck per on-call employee. Parallel rules in Code of Ordinances Sec. 28-188 (residential property) and Sec. 28-189 (public rights-of-way) add ticketing and towing enforcement.
Code Enforcement (residential property) and the Sheriff's Office (rights-of-way) issue removal notices and tickets; repeat violators may be towed at their own expense. Right-of-way fines follow FS Ch. 316.
