Parking without a permit in a restricted zone under § 202-70 is a traffic infraction, fined up to $125 for a first offense, $250 for a second within 18 months, and $375 for a third or subsequent offense within 18 months, chargeable to the vehicle's owner or lessee. Section 202-72 additionally lets the Town Clerk revoke a permit and impose a $500 civil penalty, plus a one-year ban on reissuance, against anyone who sells or furnishes a permit or visitor pass to a non-qualifying person.
