302.8 Motor and non-motorized vehicles. Except as provided for in other regulations, no inoperative or unlicensed motor vehicle shall be parked, kept or stored on any premises. No licensed or unlicensed utility trailers, boat trailers with or without a boat, motorized or pull type camping trailers or any similar type vehicles shall be parked, kept or stored on an unapproved surface on any premises.

Two exceptions apply: a vehicle may undergo bodywork inside an enclosed garage or structure, and lawn or yard vehicles and utility trailers four feet wide by eight feet long or smaller, not licensed for street use, are exempt.
