On residential zoned properties all recreational vehicles shall be located, stored or parked behind the front wall of the principal building, which is nearest to the front lot line. In no instance shall a recreational vehicle be parked within the front and side yard setback requirements of the zoning lot... No more than five percent (5%) of the gross area of the lot, not to exceed five hundred (500) square feet, shall be used for the parking of recreational vehicles in the open. No recreational vehicle shall exceed a height of fifteen feet (15 feet).

Zoning Sec. 37-700.7(A)(3) requires owner-occupied recreational vehicles on single-family lots to be parked in a fully enclosed building or, if outdoors, behind the front wall of the residence and never within the required front or side yard setbacks. Open-air RV storage is capped at 5% of the lot's gross area or 500 square feet, whichever is smaller, and the RV cannot exceed 15 feet in height. General residence districts allow one RV per five dwelling units, kept at least 60 feet from the street right-of-way and 20 feet from other lot lines unless fully enclosed.
