Section 7.11(b) allows recreational vehicles and recreational watercraft on single-family, two-family, three- and four-family dwelling sites, including manufactured homes and townhouses, but bars any use of them for living, sleeping, or housekeeping. Unless kept inside a fully enclosed garage, an RV or boat must sit completely behind the front building line of the house or at least sixty feet from the front lot line, whichever line is closer to the street. Units seven feet tall or less need at least three feet of side or rear setback unless screened; units over seven feet need at least five feet of setback and mandatory screening regardless of setback.

On corner lots, units cannot sit closer to the side street than the house's side building line unless screened. Loading and unloading anywhere on the property is allowed for up to twenty-four hours, extended during a hurricane evacuation at the discretion of the Director of Inspections and Code Enforcement. Units stored in front of the building line must sit on a hard surface and cannot exceed twenty-five feet in length. Screening, when required, means a living fence of trees, shrubs, or hedgerow, or an opaque wood, brick, vinyl, or masonry fence at least six feet tall, planted at least two feet tall and grown to six feet within two years.
