3(B)(2)(c)(i)(B)(1), so owning one and parking it on a residential lot is not, by itself, the code violation that storing a cement truck or crane would be. That does not mean an RV or boat can go anywhere on the property, though. The same subsection's yard-placement rules in items (vi) and (vii) apply to any vehicle, personal or otherwise. Item (vi) bars parking a vehicle in the front yard setback or within three feet of the front property line, and separately bars blocking or obstructing, even partially, a sidewalk, public street or other public right-of-way.

Item (vii) requires that any vehicle parked in a side or back yard be screened from view of the public right-of-way, using a wall or a solid fence; the subsection specifically says covers or tarps thrown over the vehicle do not satisfy the screening requirement. Read together, the practical effect for an RV or boat owner is that the vehicle can sit in a driveway or side yard, but a boat trailer or motorhome visible from the street in a side or back yard needs a real fence or wall around it, not a tarp, and it cannot sit forward of the front setback line or close enough to a sidewalk to block passage. The subsection does not set a separate size, length or height cap for recreational vehicles beyond these placement and screening rules.
