A of the Chapter 39 Zoning Ordinance prohibits outdoor storage or parking of any recreational vehicle, or similar vehicles, for more than 48 hours in single-family residential districts unless three minimum conditions are met: the vehicle must sit inside a fully enclosed building or be located behind the front face of the principal house, and in either case no closer than 3 feet to a side or rear lot line; the lot must have an inhabited dwelling unit, and the vehicle or equipment must be owned or leased by the occupant, not a visitor or unrelated third party; and trailer coaches or other sleeping-capable units must stay unoccupied, disconnected from sanitary sewer, and without a fixed hookup to electricity, water, or gas.
