Sec. 10-4-41 makes it unlawful to park or stand a vehicle on a street in front of any part of a private driveway, within five feet of an alley, or within 20 feet of an intersection's curb lines (15 feet where there are no curbs). Sec. 10-4-8 separately bars parking any vehicle in the same spot on city streets for more than 72 continuous hours, though that limit does not run on Saturdays, Sundays and federal holidays, and residents can apply for a 72-hour exemption limited to two weeks, five times a year, within one-eighth mile of home.
