Full Breakdown

56, the Smoking Pollution Control ordinance, extends its ban well beyond enclosed buildings. 050(C) prohibits smoking in unenclosed dining areas of any restaurant or business, in any city park, at ATMs, bank teller windows, bus stops, ticket lines and cab stands, and at city-sponsored events except in up to three marked smoking areas set at least 25 feet from high-traffic and parking areas. 040 as a minimum of 20 feet, around any entrance, exit, window or vent of an area where smoking is barred, and around any unenclosed no-smoking area, unless that distance would put the smoker somewhere unsafe.

050(F). 050(C)(5), and any landlord-designated outdoor smoking area cannot exceed 25 percent of the property's total outdoor area and must be clearly marked and fenced off from nonsmoking sections. 160, since secondhand smoke is declared a nuisance.
