020). 030(B) bans that conduct in unenclosed places of employment, service areas, dining areas, parks, playgrounds and recreational areas, the grounds of any public or private elementary or secondary school, transit depot waiting areas, public plazas, and the sites of public events such as sports games, fairs and performances, though event organizers may set aside a separate designated smoking area no larger than the main event area. 040 extends the ban to a 'reasonable distance,' defined as twenty-five feet in any direction, from any entrance or vent into an enclosed no-smoking area and from any unenclosed area already listed as off-limits, except for someone actively walking past.
