Summary
Chino bars skateboarding and roller-skating on any public ground, lot, or structure, and on private business-district property, wherever the owner has posted a compliant no-riding sign.
It shall be unlawful for any person, while riding upon or propelling any skateboard, as defined herein, or while wearing roller skates, as defined herein, to go upon any public ground, public parking lot, or public structure if there is displayed in plain view on the property, a sign or signs prohibiting such riding as provided by Section 10.24.050(B).

10.24.050 - Riding on private property. A.It shall be unlawful for any person riding upon or propelling any skateboard, as defined herein, or wearing roller skates, as defined herein, to travel upon any private sidewalk, private driveway, private parking lot, or private parking facility within any commercial area within the city without the written consent of the owner or person in lawful possession of the property, if there is displayed, in plain view on the property a sign or signs prohibiting such riding as provided in subsection (B) herein.B.The owner or person in lawful possession of the property may display signs in plain view, preferably at the property entrance or entrances, prohibiting the activity in subsection (A) herein. The signs must be a minimum of seventeen inches by twenty-two inches with one inch block lettering on a contrasting background. The text of the sign must include the following information: "NO SKATEBOARDING OR ROLLER SKATING ALLOWED. VIOLATORS WILL BE CITED.
