Section 378A-4A(8) requires the STR permit application to state the number and location of all parking spaces available to the premises, including the number of legal off-street spaces and whether on-street parking directly adjacent to the property exists. The same subsection requires the owner to certify that every effort will be made to avoid or mitigate on-street parking shortages in the surrounding neighborhood caused by the short-term rental's traffic. Section 378A-4A(9) then imposes a numeric cap: renters of the STRP are limited to one vehicle per two occupants of the unit.

Section 378A-6D(4) requires the owner to post the maximum number of onsite parking spaces in a prominent location inside the rental itself, so guests can see the limit during their stay. Enforcement reaches beyond the individual renter: § 378A-6J allows the City Manager or designee to revoke the STR permit if the City receives three substantiated complaints about excessive vehicles belonging to transient occupants of the property, and a revoked permit cannot be reissued for the same property for one year. Because the parking disclosure and vehicle cap are part of the sworn application under § 378A-4A, a false or omitted parking disclosure exposes the applicant to denial or later revocation for misrepresentation, on top of any complaint-based enforcement for actual overflow parking.
