Gretna, LA Sign Regulations: Garage Sale Signs (2026)

Gretna Code of Ordinances § 46-71 requires anyone holding a garage sale, estate sale, yard sale or rummage sale of personal or family secondhand goods in a residentially zoned part of the City of Gretna to first obtain a permit. 00 fee are handled at city hall's code enforcement office, and the permit must be displayed prominently at the sale site for the entire sale, including setup.
