Sahuarita, AZ Sign Regulations: Window Signs (2026)

080(B)(6) sets Sahuarita's window sign standard. In rural and residential zoning districts window signs are not allowed at all (the table marks the standard 'NA'/'No'). In business and industrial zones, a tenant space may cover up to 30 percent of its window area with signage, and no more than 15 percent of total window area may be illuminated. A zoning clearance is not required to install a window sign, but every window sign must stay below the second story of the building. 080(E) can add still more window coverage on a temporary basis, up to 20 percent of the window area above the base 30 percent allowance, but only during an approved special sign display period, limited to once every 90 days for seven days (or 30 days around a new or closing business).
