Hall County, GA Soliciting & Door-to-Door: No-Knock Registry (2026)

Sec. 120 lays out the standing rules for canvassers, solicitors, and peddlers working unincorporated Hall County. , with no solicitation permitted on Sundays or holidays at all. Subsection (A) caps solicitation to one call per address per business within any six-month period unless the homeowner specifically invites a return visit. Subsections (L) and (M) require solicitors to respect all posted No Solicitation signs, whether posted at a single residence or at the entrance to an entire community, subdivision, or business, and bar approaching a homeowner in the yard where such a sign is posted at the community or subdivision entrance.

Solicitors must also leave immediately once an occupant verbally asks them to go or declines to buy (subsection E), may use only the main or front entrance (subsection K), cannot enter a residence unless specifically invited by an adult occupant (subsection J), cannot approach anyone under 18 or request entry from a minor (subsection I), and are limited to one solicitor per residence at a time unless more are invited back (subsection H). 13 of the federal Domestic Mail Manual. Subsection (Q) requires written consent from the business owner or an authorized agent before soliciting at any commercial premises.
