Section 5.38.010 defines an itinerant merchant as anyone without a permanent place of business who sells from a temporary stand, tent, canopy or vehicle on property they do not own, and defines an unsolicited salesman as anyone who sells, solicits or delivers goods at residential property without invitation, though a person running a business from their own home is exempt. Every applicant must file with the city clerk under Section 5.38.030, listing their name, residence, business location and Wyoming sales tax license number. Section 5.38.040 requires the site to avoid creating a traffic hazard, provide approved paved off-street parking, and either supply temporary sanitary facilities or get written permission to use permanent facilities within four hundred feet.
