All persons or entities interested in conducting a private or community event on city-owned or controlled property will be accommodated on a first-come first-served basis, with the date of filing the application for permit being the controlling date for priority of approval of permit. All parties must obtain an event permit from the administrator prior to advertising, conducting, maintaining, selling, or furnishing tickets for a private or community event on city-owned or controlled property. Applications for private and community events must be submitted no more than 365 days prior to the planned activity, or less than required of other permits (60 days). Private and community events shall be conducted in accordance with all laws, ordinances, resolutions, rules and regulations including, without limitation the land development code, and the noise ordinance of the city and other governmental authorities having jurisdiction.
