Applications for these threshold-triggered permits are due at least five working days before the event; a separate reserved-use permit for a specific picnic pavilion, athletic field, or indoor recreation-center space needs only two working days' notice. The Director can deny or condition a permit to protect other park users, ensure adequate parking and sanitation, and may bill the applicant for cleanup and other above-normal costs. Events sponsored by the City itself are exempt.
