Sec. 3-86(a) adopts the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, 2018 edition, published by the International Code Council, as the Swimming Pool and Spa Code of the City of Gulfport, governing the construction, alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, location, removal and demolition of swimming pools, spas, hot tubs and aquatic facilities within the city. On the plumbing side, Sec. 3-85 separately requires that all plumbing work, fixtures and fittings in a swimming pool be installed by journeymen plumbers under a licensed master plumber's supervision, and bars filling a pool by hose except under that supervision.
