Pool pump, filter, and heater noise must comply with VMC Chapter 8.32 residential noise limits (50-55 dBA daytime, 45-50 dBA nighttime). Pool water may not be discharged into storm drains per the city's NPDES stormwater permit. Vista's Building Division conducts pool barrier inspections during the permit process.
