Hendersonville, TN Trash & Recycling: Bin Placement Rules (2026)

Cart and bag placement in Hendersonville is governed by Title 17 Chapter 2 of the Hendersonville Municipal Code (H.M.C.) and by the operational rules of Waste Pro and Public Works. Set-out deadline: 'All residents MUST have their trash out for collection by 6:00 am on their service day. Failure to do so may result in a missed collection for the week.' Standard curbside volume cap: two cans (up to 96-gallon size), two additional bags, and two bulk items per week. Container rules: all cans must have lids; all trash must be bagged; boxes must be broken down and placed inside cans or in bags next to them.
