Pompano Beach provides weekly bulk trash collection for residential properties. The maximum amount is 4 cubic yards per week. Bulk items must be placed at a single accessible location within 5 feet of the curb line, not within 5 feet of abutting property, and not more than 10 feet from the pavement/street edge. Qualifying items include furniture, appliances (doors removed), mattresses, and large yard waste. Garbage is not considered bulk waste and will not be accepted. Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, batteries, electronics) must be disposed of through Broward County household hazardous waste programs. Construction debris beyond small quantities may require a separate hauler.
Exceeding 4 cubic yards or placing prohibited items may result in non-collection and code violations.
