Bulk trash collection in Sahuarita is available on a scheduled basis, typically quarterly or by appointment through the contracted waste hauler. Eligible items include furniture, mattresses, large appliances (with refrigerant properly evacuated), and other household items too large for the standard wheeled cart. Items must be placed at the curb on the designated bulk collection day and should be separated from regular trash containers. Prohibited items for bulk pickup include hazardous waste, tires, batteries, electronics, construction and demolition debris, and automotive fluids. These materials must be disposed of at appropriate Pima County facilities, including the Los Reales Landfill and Transfer Station or the Ina Road Water Pollution Control Facility for household hazardous waste events.
