Port St. Lucie Code Chapter 80 prohibits placing or leaving bulk waste curbside at any time other than the scheduled collection day or 24 hours prior. No more than two cubic yards may be set curbside per collection. White goods (large appliances) must have their doors removed before being placed out, stand-up items laid flat, carpet rolled and tied in four-foot lengths, and scrap metal cut to under six feet. St. Lucie County requires all yard trash to be separated from other solid waste; land-clearing debris is not accepted as household bulk.
