Full Breakdown

City Code § 10-784(d) sets the collection window for residential zones at 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the licensee's designated day, and prohibits any garbage or refuse collection from residential dwelling units on Sundays. If scheduled service will not occur as planned, the licensed hauler must notify affected customers by phone or text at least 24 hours ahead. The rule binds every refuse collector licensed under Article XX's Division 3, not the resident directly.

Violations & Fines

A refuse hauler collecting outside the 6:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. window or on a Sunday violates the licensing standards of Article XX, Division 3, and risks license suspension or condition action by the city council under § 10-784.
