Violations & Fines
Interfering with a collector's containers, or a customer's repeated noncompliance with Section 82-131, lets the franchised collector terminate service under subsection (6). Separately, violating the collection rules generally is a chapter 82 offense: Section 82-23 makes it a second-degree misdemeanor, punishable as prescribed by state law, for anyone who fails to comply with any order or notice issued under the chapter.
