Because yard waste is organic waste under Chapter 14, it normally goes out with a household's regular organics service: § 14-2.2(c) lets organic waste, including yard waste, be placed in containers holding up to 96 gallons each, provided the filled containers don't collectively exceed 50 pounds, and § 14-5.2 requires single-family generators to subscribe to the city's organic waste collection for material covered by the chapter.
