007(A)(4) allows up to six chickens on any residential or non-residential lot if the owner holds an annual DCO permit, keeps no roosters, provides a coop that prevents the chickens from flying or roaming free, and the coop does not exceed 80 square feet or eight feet in height and sits inside its own fence separate from the perimeter fence. The coop cannot be within 25 feet of any dwelling or business owned by someone else, or within five feet of any property line. Owners must remove accumulated chicken waste at least every 48 hours, cannot sell chickens or eggs from the property, and cannot process deceased chickens where visible from a public right-of-way.

007(A)(5) bars fowl entirely on residentially zoned lots under one acre outside the chicken-permit exception, and allows up to six fowl per acre on larger tracts, kept at least 200 feet from a neighboring dwelling or business. 056: a residential lot needs at least one acre, a pen at least 200 feet from the nearest neighboring dwelling, and no more than one head per acre; tracts over five acres can hold three head per acre if the pen sits at least 400 feet from a neighboring building and the CZO approves livestock use. 058 requires manure removal at least daily to an approved storage bin, with no dumping within 100 feet of a watercourse. 007(A)(8).
