040(B), 'Animal Sales and Services' covers boarding, grooming, and medical care for small animals run as a commercial operation, plus incidental retail sales tied to that business, but the definition specifically excludes mobile dog walking and similar pet care that is not carried out at a fixed location. 020-A then tells an operator where that classification can locate: it is permitted outright ('P') in the Shopping Center, Regional Commercial, General Commercial, and Heavy Commercial districts, requires site development permit review by the Board of Administrative Review in the General Commercial-Visitor Retail subdistrict, and is capped to small-scale operations of 5,000 square feet or less in the Neighborhood Commercial district under limitation L8.

A separate footnote to the same schedule row states that, wherever the use sits adjacent to an 'R' residential district, outdoor kennels are prohibited outright, regardless of which commercial zone the grooming or boarding business is in.
