Full Breakdown

Sec. 10-3(14) is a flat, one-sentence rule: it is unlawful for any person to feed wild ducks and geese within the City of Neenah. It sits in Chapter 10's nuisances-affecting-health article alongside rules on unburied animal carcasses and vermin breeding grounds, so it's enforced the same way, inspection on complaint, with the Chief of Police, Building Inspector, or Director of Public Works empowered to act. The rule targets waterfowl specifically; it doesn't reach feeding songbirds or squirrels, and it doesn't mention deer or stray cats.

Violations & Fines

Feeding wild ducks or geese anywhere in Neenah violates Sec. 10-3(14) as a public health nuisance, subject to the Chapter 10 enforcement and abatement process.

Frequently Asked Questions
