Woodland Municipal Code § 17.84.200(E) lists uses that a home can never be used for, and automobile-related activities, including auto repair, sit second on that list, subject only to a narrow exception for work performed on the resident's own personal vehicles. The very next item, (E)(3), extends the same logic to small engine repair, covering lawn mowers and chainsaws, and further confines any woodworking or similar shop work at a home occupation to noncommercial, hobby-type activity rather than a paying repair business.
