Wayne Township forbids new bamboo plantings. Existing bamboo on residential property must stay out of a Buffer Zone of five feet from streets and ten feet from neighbors, be kept as a hedge no taller than 6 feet, or sit in a metal or polyethylene container five feet from every property line.
