Recreational Drones

In unincorporated Bannock County, flying a recreational drone at the county's recreation and events services areas is prohibited without the board of county commissioners' prior authorization. Code section 12.20.070(F) makes the Downey Fairgrounds, Events Center and Portneuf Wellness Complex 'No Fly Zones,' banning drones launched there and barring aerial devices launched elsewhere from being flown over the properties.
