Bannock County does not set a general countywide noise limit, but it does cap wind turbine noise at 45 decibels (dBA) measured at the boundary of any adjacent parcel not owned by the turbine's operator. The standard applies to every wind turbine facility, from small residential systems to commercial wind farms.
