Recreational Drones

Flying a drone, model airplane, or other radio-controlled aircraft anywhere in the Bergen County Park System requires a permit from the Bergen County Parks Department first. Any drone over 0.55 pounds must carry its FAA registration label, and the pilot must have a flight I.D. card on hand. Flights are confined to areas the Department marks and posts, always within the operator's unaided sight.
