Flood Elevation

Bossier Parish Code § 54-91(8) extends the one-foot freeboard rule to every new residential and commercial structure parish-wide, even outside mapped special flood hazard areas, requiring the lowest floor elevated one foot above base flood elevation or one foot above the adjacent roadway crown, whichever is higher.
