Unincorporated Elko County, Nevada bans handling or discharging firecrackers, Roman candles, skyrockets and other fireworks, and bans selling, bartering or giving them away. Sparklers and fusees are the only items excepted. A discharge conviction is a misdemeanor punished by a fine of up to $300 or up to three months in the county jail.
