Escambia County treats temporary, transient sellers with no established ties to the county, from tent sales to going-out-of-business events, as "itinerant vendors" under Chapter 18, Article VI. Before offering any goods for sale in the unincorporated county, a vendor must secure a tax collector's license permit, post a bond of at least $10,000, and file sales reports afterward.
