Data Center Zoning & Siting

Any data center in unincorporated Forsyth County must sit back at least 100 feet from residential, OR, A1, or Ag-Res property lines and keep a separate 75-foot planted buffer along those same lines under Unified Development Code Section 16-4.10. Buildings must stand at least 20 feet tall, and any chain-link fencing has to stay hidden from the public right-of-way.
